(All based on PBE) ***Passive: Will of the Emporer: *** Azir gains 2% Attack Speed for every 1% Cooldown Reduction he has

Passive: Disc of the Sun Azir raises a Sun Disc on the base of a destroyed turret (enemy inhibitor and nexus turrets are immune to this effect). Azir’s Sun Disc behaves like a turret, except that it deals increased damage and grants Azir gold on minion or champion kills. The Sun Disc lasts for a short while and if Azir is killed or moves too far away, it loses armor.

Q: Conquering Sands 70 Mana
10/9/8/7/6 Second Cooldown Azir sends all Sand Soldiers towards a target location. Sand Soldiers deal 60/90/120/150/180 (+0.6 AP) magic damage to all enemies they pass through and apply a stacking 20% slow for 1 second.

W: Arise! 40 Mana
1.5 Second Cooldown Azir summons a Sand Soldier for 9 seconds. When Azir attacks an enemy in a soldier’s range, the soldier attacks instead of Azir, dealing X [ flat damage is based on level - 50/55/60/65/70/75/80/85/90/100/110/120/130/140/150/160/170 ](+.7 AP) magic damage to enemies in a line. Soldiers attack even if Azir himself isn’t in basic attack range. Azir can store up to 2 Sand Soldiers at a time. A new soldier becomes available every 12/11/10/9/8 seconds. Moving too far away from soldiers deactivates them. Sand Soldiers expire twice as fast when near an enemy turret.

E: Shifting Sands

60 Mana 23/21/19/17/15 sec Cooldown Azir dashes to one of his Sand Soldiers, damaging enemies hit for 60/90/120/150/180 (+.4 AP) magic damage and knocking them up for 0.5 seconds. If Azir hits an enemy champion, he stops and gains a 4 second shield that absorbs 60/100/140/180/220 (+X) [15% of bonus Health] damage

R: Emperor's Divide

100 Mana 140/120/100 sec Cooldown Azir summons a wall of armored soldiers that charge forward, knocking back enemies and dealing 150/225/300 (+0.5 AP) magic damage. The soldiers then remain as a wall for 5/6/7 seconds. Enemies will be stopped by Emperor’s Divide, even if they attempt to dash over the wall, but Azir and his allies can pass freely and gain 20% movement speed for 1 second when they pass through the wall. Emperor’s Divide does not interact with Azir’s basic attacks or spells

I would like to see what he can do as a bot lane carry mage. With every other lane having some option for either an ad or ap champ, it is overdue that bot lane had an ap option. Tentativly, I would build item 3152 or item 3165 (depending how mana hungry he is) item 3115 item 3135 item 3128 item 3100 item 3158.

He has two abilities that do absolutely nothing by themselves.

Love him conceptually but that's the worst design I've ever seen.

Sad day for the empire. PBE testers are reporting that his W soldier attacks DO NOT apply item 3115 .

At first glance.. ..

-He appears to be a top lane champion.. Yet may be useful out of the jungle. I can't help but visualize him as a tanky support.. -I feel that Nasus and Yorick had a baby and named it Azir.. -I feel that distance is going to be huge for Azir.. And if you get on top of him.. Nighty night -I feel that people are going to see his kit and scream OP -I feel Azir will be banned by people mentioned above- A LOT -I feel Azir will be the next witch hunt for nerfs.. ..

So if he goes above the cap for cdr will he still gain the extra attack speed for it? Ex: If he builds %50 cdr will he get %100 attack speed or just %80 because that's the cap?

I remember reading a while back about them working 2 years ago on his first look but shelved it because it didn't quite fit what they wanted yet. Seems like since they've finally found his look and like it they are excited to let us know and we are as well happy. This champ is epic and ........ wait. Maybe he came from the same dimension as Renekton and Nasus! He is a anthro being and all. Maybe. Hurry! Thoughts. I need thoughts quick!

Okay, all Banner nonsense aside, Let's talk items.

item 3060 + item 3115 is absolute must buys.

140 AP 40% CDR AAs deal bonus magic damage that scales off AP. 15% Bonus damage on Soldiers and you get an Elite Seige Minion that can push up a side lane and give you some gold.

item 3020 would be your Go-To boot option then.

Other 3 are situational, but I'm favoring things like item 3027 item 3116 item 3089 item 3100 item 3135 item 3023item 3157 right now.

I not have a PBE account but I'm really worried of how his passiv will impact aram as you can't pass around them on this map

So, after hearing so much about what Azir does not do, and what his abilities do not do, it looks to me like he will be another roa/tanky mage, along the lines or Gragas and Maokai. I think Riot is passing up a unique opportunity here, especially in regards to the soldiers, which take the place of his auto attack, but don't count as an auto attack, to have an aa/as based mage with good chase or good disengage as needed. My enthusiasm for this guy has been popped before I even got to try him.

Ave Atque Vale APC Azir,hecould have been the first of a new line, but turned out to be a missed opportunity.
