Shouldn't Runepages be cheaper?

I'm level 30 and still only have 3 rune pages. To be frank they are too bothersome to get and quite honestly extortionate in terms of Ip. In Australia, it costs 20 fucking dollars to get 7, SEVEN rune pages. that's what, just over 50 dollars for the full 20? It's a bit stupid. You made runes cheaper for starters which is welcome. But could you PLEASE make rune PAGES cheaper? It gets increadibly tiresome to have to keep swapping runes out for individual champions. I know some will say "just spend IP on more rune pages" it's still 6300 and I can only play for 5 hours a week tops. I after 1 year I might be able to get 12 but I still need runes themselves and also when a new champions comes out I think I know what I'll be spending IP on. Again, please make rune pages cheaper. They are not worth the struggle they are to get.

There is literally no reason for Rune Pages to be so expensive with the current state of the game. It made more sense when the game was just starting and Riot was a small company, but not anymore.

At the very least Rune Pages' prices should scale up until they reach the current price.

You get to choose 1 of 3 options. play with 2, pay with RP or pay with IP.

Cheaper rune pages would be extremely benefical for the entire community and you know it.

Yup, they should work like mastery pages, free.

I've only bought 1 page of shitty runes and I'm keeping it at that because everything is way to fucking expensive. I still have expensive champions I'd like to buy so runes can go fuck themselves, and since my runes only work well for supports that's what I'm stuck playing. Thanks a lot Riot.

I haven't had any issues with the system.

I was in the habit of saving up IP before purchasing anything (I'd typically hit 20k or 30k before purchasing a couple champions), so I always had plenty whenever sales occurred.

I just bought all of my rune pages with IP during the BOGO sales and my runes while they were 33% off at the beginning of Season 4-ish.

I think they should be cheaper, but i guess they did not discount/get rid of them because they cost RP. While i don' t really know who dares to buy them with RP still it brings 2 issues

part of their income comes throught it, so they have to be careful to not discount too much. They have to gain money after all
discounting might not be fair for those who purchased with RP. In contrast to champions and skins who have predictable discounts ( permanent and not).

So if they cheapen them then they would probably prefer to discount something else, like runes. Which happened. I don't comment if that is enough or not.

I dunno.

I have 19 rune pages and I only use 3 on Summoners Rift. And of those 3, one is specifically for my main, Zyra support. I guess people like finding out for themselves, but I guarantee that you dont really need all 20 runepages.

The fact that you still use level as a magnitude of time played show that you havent been on this game for too long For example i got around 2k wins it taked me only 150 of them (75 since last patch) to get to 30. Im level 400?

You are level 30 and got 3 rune pages Im lvl 400 and got 9 :D

I think personally they should be a bit cheaper it is kinda annoying even paying with ip just make the ip cost a little less or something so its plausible to get rune pages at any lvl

Keep your eye out for rune page sales. Usually after a LCS they like to release the runepage sale. You get 2 for the price of 1(something like that). And the runepage bundle is extremely cheap.

I agree the rune page need to be reduced but riot is a business. THey willl try anything to suck the money from the players

All runes and rune pages should be free.

Or deleted and ingame stats adjusted so that champions can function without them.

Personally I don't get why "Inject free stats into your character" was ever a decision, especially when it alienates new players (Try jungling as someone like Nidalee without runes) but as they are so ingrained into the game now I doubt they will go away.
