Diversity in botlane is fine as long as it's not be at the price of alienating an entire class of champions just so toplaners can autofill bot.

JackMcSnipeyz3 votesLook at my last games, i literally play swain and Graves botlane because i know im gonna scale way faster way before any regular marksmen will.
I've always picked Graves adc but before these changes i knew it wont work against his high range counters like cait and tristana, now i dont give a shit what they pick, unless it's ez draven or kai'sa, they are literally a free game 90% of the game's length because they never scale.
If the changes are so drastic that "an adc main" is ditching the class he played since season 3 that means the nerfs were too much.
But why argue points when you can pull the ol' "le X main spotted" card that somehow wins you the argument.

season 1 and 2 were early years of the game where there was no real balance and no real meta. If your best argument for gutting most of the marksmen class was "Well but in season 1 i could go nunu adc" then you dont really have an argument.
I'm not defending riot, im defending game balance, something you dont care about, you care about fiesta botlane with no real rhyme or reason or strategy.

JackMcSnipeyz4 votesIt's way more balanced than early years league with dodge, league of cleavers, full AP yi i can go on and on.. If you take off your rose tinted glasses you'll see the game was never perfect not even in your mythical season 2 times where "EVERYONE WERE VIABLE AND BALANCED"
Also i supported marksmen blanket nerfs, i still do, doesnt mean the class should be gutted. And small buffs like the ones on the PBE are good baby steps towards a good healthy middle ground where botlane will be diverse enough for wacky combos while maintaining marksmen as the major class in (their own) lane. Of course that is IF you want balance and not "revenge" on those pesky adcs

Tbh, it's still better than the old "botlane decides game 99% of the time and adc + supp is overpowered" meta we had before. Hopefully they find a middle ground.

Anyone who is fine with a whole role being a joke due to changes(Jungle) i.e underleveled compared to other solo lanes (top, mid) and having their viable pool cut down to 7-8 max (out of over 40) should not be talking about balance.
