Is it possible to cancel recall when both Xayah and Rakan recall together?

I havent tried this yet but can you cancel the enemy Xayah and Rakan recall when they both recall together? I assume that even if you hit the one that started the recall, the other would still be recalling thus continuing a never ending recall unless both champs are hit at the same time.
