Game Mechanic :: Fog of War Espionage

The fog of war is a pretty simple concept that is utilized quite often in the games o' games o' games of games and games.

Currently we have a few champs who can mess with it, such as Nocturne who just goes "Fog of war? MORE LIKE DARKNEEESSSSSSSS".

However...

What about a champion who can SPY on the enemies fog of war? So they can see what they can see and can in turn "stealth" around their vision?

That sounds bit like how Eve works now, with the ring around her character indicating how close the enemy needs to be in order to see her during stealth

You mean like, some sort of indicator where enemy vision is?

That would be pretty rad, and a much more interesting direction to take stealth in.

Such a mechanic would be crazy powerful in competitive play though.

Mmhmm. It's something I noticed, people often overestimate/underestimate the visual range people have when setting up ambushes on lanes(Not counting wards, just champion visual range). Made me think of someone who can actually see it.

you mean TwistedFate

No. Twisted Fate spies on the enemy, not on their fog of war.

Spying on the fog of War would basically put an overlay over your own fog of war/vision that shows what the enemy can currently see.
