What if silences didnt disable items anymore?

Well.. I actually have to agree with you because I remembered . I like silence for some sweet nice plays like stopping channels by putting down your silence at the right moment, Because they are kind of a weaker version of a stun, and 0.5 sec silence is only gonna hurt casters a bit. But having a 2 second silence with that hitbox is really unhealthy.

you can't use them while stunned, knocked up or suppressed either

if you mean stuff like smite/ignite/whatever, i guess that's the tradeoff. actually a pretty cool feature to such limited CC
