I was wondering if S grading gets harder after a while if you get too many of them. I used to get a decent amount with my Thresh but in my las game I went 4/0/17 and that is really good in my opinion, better than other games in which I did get S but in this one I didnt got even S-. SO is it true that its harder or am I doing something wrong? (we won btw)
Your grade is based on a variety of your scores (like CS, kill participating, ward control etc.) compared to all other players on that champion in that role, not on how you have performed in the past, so that's not it. Sometimes you'll just have a bad score somewhere that you don't recognize and it's dragging your grade down (like maybe your KDA is great, but you didn't show up for objectives).
I think the game matches you with more skilled players as you score wins. That's why you can have like an 8-game winning streak, bounce up and down for 3 more matches, then lose the next 4 or 5 rounds in a row.
I don't think so in a sense of progression towards S's. They do become harder to get when you play against better opponents. Have you been ranking up? :P
