Client Freezing Computer

I was about to play a team builder game in the new map. Then the computer started to freeze. I tried to reconnect and it froze completely. Forced a shut down and tried to get in the game again, it froze again. Now I'm don't even want to open the client for fear it would freeze yet again. Help please!
