everytime i'm a melee toplaner i fear i get matched up against teemo
his blind and constat poke chunks my health down before i can get in range and do anything
on the boards i hear often ppl saying teemo in the laning phase isn't a problem
what am i missing? got any advice for me? i'm buying mr item first, in those cases
just stay patient, let him push and wait for jungler/his mistakes?
Simple. Outscale him. Stay under ur turret and farm. Just about all top lanes Outscale teemo. If ur a tank and u survive lane phase for 10 mins then he will do literally zero damage if built properly. His attacks heals mundo for example.
if you're a tank, start with 
and an hp pot, then just rush adaptive helm and more resistances depending on their comp
if you're a fighter, im afraid you will need your jungler to gank you almost everytime you fight.
also, let him push so your jungler ganks you.

If u play against teemo that ultimately counters u, just safe farming u ain't even trying to trade him, unless jungler camping Teemo, if jungler is smart he will bring Pinkwards to work against shrooms or u should buy pinkwards.
Depends on what champion you are playing, wait for him to waste his Q to poke and all in him as soon as the blind is over
Playing an AA based champion into teemo is suicide 99% of the time.
Most mages take a dump on teemo. 
You can farm from safety and punish him if he tries to be to aggro.
Any ability based champion should roll Teeto. I had sucess playing Riven into him because while his blind weakens my combo I still hav my Qs, W to stall and E to tank his Q. Post 6 just go in on him but don't chase too far.
