How does Riot apply Counter-play in Champ designs?
As a big League player, I come to find some champs I just can't stand. The champs I play are usually not good against the annoying champs. Now I will say that recently Riot's champion designs have been outstanding and I love each of them. I also noticed ways of countering them with certain tactics, for example
's Q can be dodged multiple ways or
where you can buy
and prevent him from following up with his w and e. With all this in mind, My question for Riot is "How do you apply counter-play in champ designs?" I'm seeing champs like
where you can simply move away to dodge her q, on the other hand champs like
are focused on targeted abilities to do most damage.
does have a targeted ability, but not like
. No matter how you move around,
s shots are homing, meaning movement is not a counter-play method. If any champ doesn't have any type of shield, there is no way of counter-play unless your team can shield you. If you actually read my rant about counter-play thank you.
TL;DR : I ranted about counter-play and stuff. I talk about my curiosity in how riot designs champs with counter-play.
