Ohmwrecker is almost a decent support item given a few changes.

Nothing uses it unless someone is memeing so its kinda amazing to me they just leave it as is, so it wouldn't be a loss in any regard to shift the focus of the item in order to make it useful. With it's base stats and utility active its almost a perfect support item, only off qualities being its just a tad too expensive and supports don't really benefit from the point runner passive.

If they took the bonus HP off the item and replaced "point runner" with a 10-20% extra heals and shields passive most of the true supports would love to have such an item in their small pool of options. Without the HP the item should be able to be brought down below 2300 gold, perhaps as low as 2,200 gold depending on what is appropriate. Lastly it would be a great counter part to michael's crucible offering the armor resistances along with the shields and heals. With some team work that active could be great for a tanky support opting to tower dive particularly with the towers having been buffed, could become a decent situational item.

It should be an offensive item not a defensive item so I disagree with your idea. It should be moved towards champions that want to dive , but are squishy.

The active is basically only useful if the enemy team has no way to protect a tower and you want to preserve your last minion or two for a few secnods while you get the plates. To that end, make it build out of something like Last Whisper + 2 daggers to get AD, Attack speed and armor pen. Except the Last Whisper passive is renamed to Homewrecker - Ignores 25% of a tower's armor (LW + 2 daggers + 350g = 2400g. Gives 30% ASpeed, 30 AD)

Though with that final stat line, it might be a generally good ADC item even with the minimal AD component. AP Counterpart is still lich bane, that thing melts towers absurdly fast

For Ohmwrecker to be remotely valid of an item, turrets would need to be a threat past level 3. When single-defensive item Urgot can sit under the thing pelting it without minions and walk away with 80% health there's a massive issue.

Turrets need to be actually punishing to make Ohmwrecking them worthwhile.

Besides changes to towers, the item's effect could stand improvements as well, like removing the turret's defensive bonuses they get from being attacked without minions.
