@Riot, how much time you need to change Aegis recipe?

I feel like Aegis is meant to be deliberately difficult to purchase (its components take up a lot of inventory space and there's a large combine cost, likely to avoid hurting AoE mages too hard in mid game teamfights), but even so a change like this would still largely prevent supports and tanks from building this too quickly while making for a more sensical build path (Crystalline Bracer only shifts the combine cost down by 20 gold). I think there might be a few changes that need to happen to mages to improve their gameplay (a lot of mages are still stuck with overly large mana costs, namely , , , etc.), and if that happens we could probably see improvements to MR itemization, in order to counterbalance the increase in AoE spell usage.

nothing wrong with sitting on 3 mediocre items, taking up HALF your inventory room till you win the lottery and afford that aegis :L

It would be a little bit nice, as a support building into locket I usually just don't bother with the bead (need a slot for pink wards) so being able to get a little extra health and the HP regen without taking up the extra slot would be nice. It would also reduce the effective combine cost by 200 since bead was never bought before combining anyway.

Not sure it necessarily needs an improved recipe though.

Crystalline Bracer gives 100% health regen. Aegis only gives 75%. They can't make it work this way without having an item where you lose stats to upgrade, which is something they try to avoid.
