Why does Akali jungle not work?

A jungle needs to be able to clear camps quickly and efficiently. That is the primary source of their gold income unless the opposing team is so terrible that they are so easily ganked that the jungle can simply spend the entire game feasting off enemy champions while siphoning exp off minion deaths.

hi im interested in this i used to jungle old akali. unfortunately the team would surrender despite my success. idk if its meta now, i hope it is. if it isnt i wont practice mode her for clears. at least for now.
