I 100% understand why people are disappointed with these Pajama Star Guardian skins BUT if you look a little past this, two skin lines can greatly benefit from these "Variant Skin". Those two being "Pentakill" and "K/DA" since this gives an opportunity for new outfits and new music videos for both skin lines <3 (hopefully).
I am not opposed or disappointed by these skins. They are cute.
What I'm concerned about is Riot's pricing paradigm for them. They seem to want to charge us an AWFUL LOT OF RP for a low quality skin when we already own the originals.
Edit: The pricing dropped to reasonable levels! The Pajama skins are now around 743 RP, as they should be for just a model swap if you own the originals.
tbh they should've just skipped SG this year and give us new star guardians next year. lol good idea with the pajama thing but i ain't buying it XD.

i would reather have just 1 new star guardian skin (even if it was urgot) then this ugly "chromas". i was looking foward all year for the star guardian event and they give us this im sad

Are... are you kidding me? Riot has repeatedly stated that the pace of skin releases is limited by the lack of talented artists who are actually capable of doing this kind of work, and you want these people to spend their time on turning a handful of skins into an endless parade of slight tweaks rather than on creative, original work? You really can't wait to buy Widescreen Edition, Full Screen Edition, Director's Cut Edition, Deluxe Edition, Super Bonus Edition, 20th Anniversary Edition, etc.?

They're only 750 now, and so people have no reason to complain. I am sad pajama skins werent their own skin line with cloud effects but I love these a lot, especially cuz i play alot of three of them.

I'm more bothered by the fact it's more fan service for champs who don't need more fan service. so many champs that could use a new skin or at LEAST chromas for existing skins. But no, lets increase the gap even further to let everyone know who are the Riot approved champs and who they want you to avoid like the plague.

I really hope these « skin » will never hit the live server.

With the 45% discount, I think the skins are quite fair.
I'm really excited for Soraka's pajama skin.
I already own Star Guardian and bought it as soon as it came out. However, I don't know if I'm excited about the price though. I hope it isn't anymore than 720 RP because it is a skin variant and has a shared splash art.
It's not Variant Skins that are the problem, it's that they're most likely replacing actual, good, Star Guardian skins with this trash this year. I was ready to drop all my money on new SG skins and I was even gonna buy the Ezreal and Lux PJG skins until I realized what was happening.
