I think that it would be a good idea to give bard some love in the healing department. It is great as is for the early game, but for the mid and late game, it falls off hard and it feels like his heal is only good for the short speed boost that it gives.
Idea:
I think it would be great to give bard the ability to heal allies based on a small percentage of their maximum health.
If it makes the heal feel a little too powerful then perhaps we could increase the cool down of it by a few seconds. In team fights, his q seems to be the only useful ability he has if you don't count his ult. I feel that giving him at least 1 strong heal during the duration of a team fight would significantly increase his viability.
Thanks for listening :-)
His heal is already stellar - no heal in the game is meant to give you a massive chunk of health back. Bards heal is sitting pretty at an average amount healed compared to sona, raka, taric, and nami.
If anything, they should weaponize it.
Like... "If no ally has vision of the shrine, it becomes red. Any enemy champion who gains vision of the red shrine activates it, causing the shrine to wait two seconds before moving toward them. Shrines will chase for 8 seconds, and will deal base damage+0.3AP (Or base damage +0.6AP depending on if the shrine was large or not) if it collides with the enemy. Bard can see the shrine moving, but does not gain vision. red shrines can also be activated if a jungle monster begins to move from their static position.
