ok so lets remove summoner 4 from champs that arent suppose to have a gap closer and lets remove summoner 14 for the early game kill potential and lets remove summoner 7 so a player cant survive your all in and deny you 1st blood and lets get rid of summoner 12 because it allows your team to be mobile and global. and then finally we can remove summoner 3 so we cant slow or counter the damage out put from Azir Cassiopeia Ekko Fiora Fizz Jax Jinx Kassadin Katarina Khazix Kindred KogMaw Leblanc Lucian MasterYi Nidalee Quinn Rengar Riven Ryze Taliyah Talon Tristana Tryndamere Twitch Udyr Vayne Volibear MonkeyKing Yasuo Zed just to name a few

Most summoner spells are strong and impactful, but okay, nerf exhaust. Your evidence is irrefutable and your logic is sound.

If you can't figure out why its broken on your own in about .5 seconds of thought you are either a support main or absolutely clueless.

Support main here (while also playing other roles to improve my skills) and I see nothing wrong with any of the summoner spells.

specter4241 votes

But of course a support would see nothing wrong. You don't really experience being the only fed person on your team of apes and getting exhausted every fight because the enemy team has 2 exhausts.

VoidStaresBack1 votes

That is one of the uses of exhaust, yes, to nail a high-damage target and reduce their damage output for a short time to improve your teams odds of winning a teamfight.

Beldair1 votes

Probably because I rarely mid...

But I've fought a team with 2 exhausts as a top layer with tp...you know what happened....we beat then even with 2 debuffs and a stun on their team...why... Because my team played around the stun and debuff and worked together to compensate for the temporary debuff that lasts for 2.5 seconds.

If you wouldn't mind taking your foot off the e-warrior gas pedal for a minute, would you care to explain your reasoning? Because seeing non-supports taking Exhaust is uncommon, and many support players even opt for Ignite over it.

Exhaust is strong, yes. It's DESIGNED to be. But why aren't we talking about Flash? Flash is by far the strongest summoner spell, given that almost 100% of players in all roles take it every game! Behind flash, I'd wager that Ignite sees more play than Exhaust at the moment (though I don't know how to factually back that feeling up). There's even a chance that Heal sees more play than Exhaust, given that virtually 100% of ADC players take it, while Exhaust is usually only seen on Supports and is sometimes abandoned for Ignite.

In other words: Sorry that the spell tilts you. That doesn't make it broken.

This game needs Flash at this point, if it was deleted after it was added in Season 1 it would be different.

Exhaust on mid is pretty self explanatory, if you aren't an assassin that hinges on the extra damage to finish someone exhaust will work just as well if not better because they won't/can't kill you and they cant fight back during exhaust.

Sure, but does that mean that Exhaust is broken? As I stated above, it's still the third LEAST used summoner spell. So clearly the world does not share your opinion of its strength.

people aren't creative and don't think of anything except what they see "pros" do so of course you probably never see an exhaust mid in silver

The site I linked lets you search by rank, and the use of Exhaust is fairly consistent across all ranks.

it has a 210 second cooldown. and the person with summoner 3 isnt always gonna use it on the right target or at the most optimal times. its a 3 and 1/2 min cool down, and lets say a game last 30 mins. so you get to use it 8 times in a game. and it last for how long? 2.5 seconds. so if you are exhausted by a support just wait 2.5 seconds and re-engage. it has a cool down and a limit on how long it last for a reason. so there is counter play to it. it dont stop you from doing anything, it debuffs. its not like annie just all in you with everything and summoner 14 and deleted you off the map.

Oh hey, whaddya know? http://www.lolking.net/charts?region=all&type=spell-popularity

According to Lolking, Exhaust is literally the third LEAST popular summoner spell. It loses out to Flash (obviously), Heal, Ignite, Smite, and Teleport. It only beats Ghost and Cleanse.

Fourth, the .1% "other" category is barrier.

My bad, forgot Barrier. The graphic is a bit lackluster. Still, though.

Yeah, your point still stands, just a pointless fact-check [slayer-jinx-catface]

i agree fuck that spell, overloaded as fuck

GoronMuncherV1 votes

I think it needs something removed. Movement speed debuff, damage debuff, armor/ magic resist debuff, attack speed debuff all in one spell? Why is that a thing....

specter4241 votes

Who knows? But because the support main brigade will whine I don't know if anything will be done about it.

You know something is wrong with it when other lanes are also taking it and it clearly performs better than the alternatives

You need to get off your high horse against support main's opinions regarding Exhaust.

Do I use it every time I play support? yes.

Why...because of the debuff... I usually play a support champ that can capitalize on the debuff and slow them even more to get my adc that kill.

Top I take tp or ignite, fighting against exhaust.... I just back off and act like I cant fight....then jump back in and do a ton of DMG..

Mid I always take ignite... Against exhaust, I still hit them even when exhausted...

Exhaust isn't as broken as you think... You just don't know how to play around it.
