As a top laner in pre-Season 6...

I'm still not feeling very compelled to go after Rift Herald. The buff is super attractive, to be sure, but Rift Herald hits like a truck, and there don't seem to be many solid windows to take him (It? Her? They?) down. Even when I've been able to nab a kill on my lane opponent, I feel like I'm using my time more wisely when I am chipping away at the tower as opposed to waiting for jungle and mid to help me fight (and possibly die to) Herald.

I certainly don't mean this as a rant post, but I wanted to share these "pain" points as we're all getting used to the preseason. As a whole I really love the changes so far... except for maybe how good Tryndamere is right now. Just saying! Okay, I'll stop.

Any tips/suggestions/comments are much appreciated! Cheers!

i think the reason why they made it hit so hard is to compell people to chose tanky champs up top to be able to tank it while the jungler attacks it from behind for the %health true damage.

still feels like a problem though, since after most fights with my lane opponent if im not absolutely stomping the lane, im too low to attempt it. and early on respawn timers are rather short so youre risking your opponent catching you with your pants down while youre either still busy fighting it, or just after you took it down.

its true, i know they wanted to make a smaller version of baron to keep top laners happy, but hes kinda too strong right now, they should fix that, maybe lowering his base health/ Stats, or just lowering his damage to make it more fair, because right now, its like fighting the baron himself, but only 1 guy gets the boost. Literally every game i have played, that the herald has been take, its been a 4 person effort, and at least one of them is either dead, or at the point of dying.
