I do that but diamonds are not stupid... They don't drop the pink unless they see you go into the shroud.

This is besides the point Akali should not have a spell in her kit that tries to be:

Sh_t Slow (Rylai is far stronger and you can keep it up permanently and not just in a small area)
Sh_t MS boost (0.2 sec cast time of your champ being immobile kills the MS buff)
Sh_t Clairvoyance (cast range and area) basically you can almost safely face check a bush or use it over wall for vision but that is about it
Sh_t Invisibility (The condition being the enemy team is bronze/silver)

I Would rather have it do just one of those things but do it well then do a bit of everything but all at extremely low and non effective level.

For instance:

Priority Sabotage - 30/40/50/60/70% Slow in the area of shroud + grounded effect (No invisibility, ms boosts or vision in the area)

Priority Swiftness - 12/24/36/48/60% MS while moving in the shroud area + slow immunity (No other effects)

Priority Reconnaissance - Cast range to 800 and shroud diameter to 1000 ( Current RANGE: 700 / 400 ) - Marks all units in the area (stealth ones too) with vision de-buff for 8 sec + disables wards/traps (basically upgraded version of red trinket) Leveling it gives CD and Less energy to cast.

Priority Stealth - You are invisible and fck pink wards and red trinkets YOU ARE INVISIBLE! I mean common they know what circle you are hiding in and no other champion is so fcked by pink wards. Shaco/Twitch/Rengar etc. can just run away from the pink and be invisible again and Teemo deserves to die if he goes invisible in a bush and hopes people won't smoke him out.

Meanwhile Akali puts down a shroud and then the enemy puts down a pink leading up to this awkward moment where Akali just used her entire energy for the shroud and can't cast any spells and the enemy is like: http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11112/111121459/3505206-6974653793-50009.jpg

That is why i want oranges. Oranges are great! You just eat one and you are no longer in CC lockdown and you are also healthier!

Give Akali oranges or make the Shroud actually do something well enough to be worth the energy dumped. It does too many things but not one of them is done well enough to earn you a 80-60 Energy worthy advantage...

She's kinda stuck in a poor state because she's more or less a bundle of stats, I guess. Either you can jump on someone and kill them, or you can't, and the only skillful play available involves the shround, which is also in a very binary state of either being amazing or useless.

So some kind of alteration to W to allow more uses for it and the rest of her kit and get both it and her out of a feast-or-famine-or-build-tanky state sounds like exactly what she needs.

Hopefully the kat leak will mean something for akali's solo rework/relaunch.
