Way to show life steal in training practice tool?

Is there a way to show life steal easily in the training practice tool when testing out builds on the dummies?

The only way I've been able to accomplish this is to put a dummy near a tower, take damage until I'm almost dead, then attack dummy.

If my champ isn't damaged, I don't see life steal stats with the dummy. It makes sense that it doesn't show it, but I would imagine there is a way to do it easier than taking damage every time.
