Riot is Discussing Possible Nerfs to Warwick

I don't chime in too often on league balance decisions but this is the wrong move. While Warwick sports a high Winrate and is popular he isn't nerf worthy. He fits his play style perfectly and his niche. He is an excellent duelist with hard snowball potential.

He also has obvious weaknesses. He isn't good in team fights and Grievous wounds cripples him. He doesn't have good objective control like lee sin or nunu and all of his damage is single Target.

I really hope they keep warwick how he is because he fits his lore and play style perfectly without being overbearing and I see no reason to think that he is over powered

Soloing drake as a standard jungle clear is an obvious problem with warwick. - the W passive is too strong regardless of what you think.

and why isn't he good in teamfights? He's a meatshield with the potential to lock someone down, and forbid you're a jungler against him and drop to 50% health, your jungle is instantly taken away without him requiring any effort in warding/tracking you down, the W passive does it for the WW player.

He has a 54% win rate with a 12% play-rate, which is massive. Hes obviously overperforming.

He's not picked at all in competitive for a number of reasons. His healing is very cheap to counter. His ult has a ton of counterplay (dodge it or have a teammate stand in the way, alternatively have a teammate interrupt it, use QSS).

Why in the world would you nerf him? There are plenty of better pubstomp champions out there like Twitch that are much easier to play.

I still miss the old WW. I had lots of fun with him. I played a ton on him pre and now I have only played him a handful of times.
