I am confused on where you are trying to take Kha'zix to be honest. When he originally came out he had the identity of a unique hunter ,( because of the evolve) if you ask me now you don't have much of a choice. Even the order you evolve you skills is pretty "strict" to be honest. You max your Q then W for heal then E for CD, You evolve Q for objectives then E then ult. You do not evolve w at all because its useless compared to the others. On release you waited for you prey and punish them for not keeping vision on you. He was a 1v1 monster, while i do agree he was a little too strong in "fixing" that you took his identity away. Recently you even made his "uniqueness" a mastery. When fighting a assassin 1v1 you get blow up if your squishy, kha'zix should be the definition of that statement do to isolation. But you can play talon, zed, lb, rengar even some fighters and do the job better then he can now. Originally isolation is what defined him, your creeps and your tower could not save you, you had to ward to stop him. Now to be honest he is just not the same. I'm not saying that he is weak by any means I still play him because i love this champ. I just feel he lost himself through all the changes. I just want to know your thoughts on kha'zix current identity/uniqueness compared to other assassins.

As a kinda-Kha'zix-main-before-the-last-update Kha'zix is really fun, but... he's so repetitive, honestly. Everything is always the same even though he's supposed to evolve to fit the situation. Its always Q or E then Q or E then ult, always start at blue side first, try to gank mid or top the most since you can't usually get isolation at bot without a Blitz, etc.

he's less about his choices in regards to his evolutions (because nailing that without being a generalist powerpick is something that's very very hard to do) to a champ that's very anti-splitpush and good at stopping fights before they start by zeroing people out before they get grouped. depending on why you like him it seems kind of lame but i personally think the focus on isolation is a good way to take him if they want him to remain healthy while also being at least viable to people who play him extensively.

Kha'zix just feels like a crappy Rengar that's only better at cleaning up a teamfight. Rengar does much better at everything else; sustain, damage, ganking, crowd control, tankiness. Though I think comparing Kha'zix to Rengar isn't the best way to see it as Rengar has one of the most historically toxic, counterplayless kits in the game that revolves around him bursting you down with almost no counterplay. Kha'zix is still regardless outshone and for a long time has been outshone by Rengar by such a far stretch.

As of patch 4.19, they tried, and successfully accomplished, taking Kha'Zix to "Entirely out of any viablity". That's what they were trying to do with him.
