So as a long time player, I would like to say that I love this game and I think that everyone at Riot who worked in developing and making the game have in its entirety made this game a complete success. I've poured over a couple thousand hours into this game and I have to admit, I've had a blast for a lot of it.

However, I have to say that the game isn't truly bringing anything new to the table for what the game is.

Tons of it has been riddled with griefers, games that were over far before the 5 minute mark, and a variety of champions who avalanche beyond control. Listen. I get it. A ton of people are going to tell me I'm an idiot and that they constantly add new champions and constant updates, but that isn't what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the fact that the same thing happens every season of this game. Most people would argue that it all comes down to balance issues (![Vayne](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.11.1/img/champion/Vayne.png) ) and I would have to say I partially agree, but again, not what I'm talking about. There will ALWAYS be balance issues (and salty ![Riven](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.11.1/img/champion/Riven.png) players)

On a personal level, the game is becoming stale because every single game of ranked takes place on summoners rift. **"But Dukarg, there is ranked 3's"** Keep in mind, you have to have a team to compete in ranked 3's. **"Its like chess. You don't change the board for chess." **Yes, I've heard that argument. Now I understand that I am may be in the minority when I'm talking about this, but I think it might be time for some new maps. **"But Dukarg, why would Riot peel away from updates of champions,skins,nerfs/buffs to make new maps."** Exactly. They've already stated repeatedly with the destruction of Dominion (Yes I know. They put it into the rotating game mode) that this would no longer be the case. On the other end of the table, not everyone playing this game is white knuckle competitive picking the meta and are here to have fun casually with normals.

I'm not an expert, but I've seen what happens to games when they cater to casual players or a VERY specific crowd like the hardcore. They die. Horribly. What I'm saying is that a company that makes an abundance of money, I'm not sure why they can't have multiple teams to address several issues at the same time and make the game new and exciting for new and old players. (If you guys haven't been paying attention, the new player gaming experience is beyond horrible, mostly because of smurfs. I've watched more people not come back to this game because of it. Not a whole lot Riot can do there except tie peoples accounts to emails and even then, its not going to stop smurfing) Now most people would see that as a tall order and I know, it definitely is. But if league plans to be around for the future, they need to start investing in some variety all the time, not just on weekends.

Clearly, I can't step into Riot's shoes here and see everything that they do on a daily basis to bring new changes to the table and I'm sure they invest all of their dedication into making this game what it is right now. Behind the scenes are usually far more than meets the eye and I get it. There probably is a ton of work going on that were not aware of and it probably makes Riot employees look at posts like this as some sort of indignation, but again, I want to see this game thrive far into the future.

Again, I love this game. Always have and always will mainly for the fact that it brought me and a lot of friends together to play all the time. Thank you Riot

I like how you make a potential argument and then state multiple counter-arguments that are completely valid that void your own argument, and then ramble on about something irrelevant and then go back to the counter-argument again.

I don't even know why I would care in the first place. Upvoted.
