Can Shaco's e not lose mana if they go into the fog of war / bush?

Losing mana on his e can really screw over a trade early game (if your in lane).

It only loses mana if it is fully cast lol? Unless there's some bug I'm not aware of. If it finishes casting and they go into brush, they still take damage lol. bronzelife

I mean, he was already talking about playing shaco in lane, so.. can't expect a lot of champion knowledge.

Sorry, I forgot you were pink ward lmao. You don't even take ignite or thunderlord's.

I've also never encountered this bug of shiv not dealing damage, as I've killed people with it after they enter fog of war by flashing/dashing/whatever.

I am trying deathfires touch currently to see if it would help the boxes do more damage. Also, what does me being pink ward have to do with anything? I prefer flash over ignite because I am not as good as him. I'll try to find out this bug. Perhaps you can give me a source to prove your point?

The shiv will not do damage if it goes into the fog of war before it hits the target. I am 100% sure

Personal Experience plus the Practice Tool!

How to reproduce:

  1. Buy a Blue Trinket
  2. Place 2 practice dummies, one in a bush the other in the open
  3. Set cooldowns to auto refresh (you'll want this for the trinket use later)
  4. Attack the dummy in the open with a dagger
  5. Look at the damage the dummy took (saved below the dummy)
  6. Use the trinket to reveal the dummy in the bush, taking care to center the trinket OUTSIDE the bush so the ward isn't in the bush.
  7. Throwing the dagger right before vision fades
  8. Walk into the bush to check the damage the dummy took (saved below the dummy)

Both dummies took damage, and both times the "you damaged someone that way" indicator popped up.

Hmm... I am wrong about the brush one. What about the fog of war?

There's no evidence it would behave differently for fog of war that's further away from you than it would the fog of war that covers bushes.
