If you really care about strategic diversity, don't make us require a jungler.

Duo top should be alright, as long as it's not being played both sides every game. That's when you know something is a problem.

Every team has to revolve around the AD damage dealer, to the point that if the mage or assassin is fed, it becomes a game of which specific person dies first every time.

2 vs 1 isn't really a fun, interesting, or healthy experience for the game first off as player nor viewer.

Second off it means we face the issue competitive play faces when 2 vs 1 is viable; the only viable solo top laners will become the ones who can survive 2 vs 1 and still get some CS/XP, or became second jungler decently if needed. And anyone else might not exist since if you picked em. the enemy would 2 vs 1 and shut you down hard.

This imposes great restrictions on champion diversity and invalids many champions, which is more important than strategic diversity, imo.

I see what you are talking. I dont want to seem conceited but it seems that alot of my games are won because of me being in the jungle. i dont have the lane restriction that hinders most peoples strategy but at the same time the fact that there is a jungler is huge for strategic gameplay because the jungler has so many different ways to play that you never know what to expect or how to counter something you cant predict. Also the late game phase is unchanged if you have a jungler or not because everyone is in one lane or defending or split pushing that a jungler doesnt really jungle anymore regardless.

i dont know if that even made since but i know what im talking about lol... anyhow my point is that we shouldnt have to rely on a jungler but a jungler is extremely beneficial and i appreciate anyone who can do it properly or people who accept that you jungle the way you want.

And yet people complained about duo Targon's top, because apparently too many people decided they don't value a roaming champion as much as everyone thought. In their strategical-diversity-favoring wisdom, Riot quashed an alternative, non-mandatory strategy in a week.

Double targons was 10 times better and easier than jungling, that is not strategical diversity.

No, it definitely wasn't 10 times better. Do you know what ganks are, and how well they work? And a lot of people still played with a jungler.

They have said they do not consider alternate laning formations to be strategic diversity. Something, something, limits champions to only those that can either stop those formation or facilitate them.
