EDIT: Even Bjergsen the person who is considered the best mid laner in NA only has a 48% winrate on Azir

Most broken champ in game though am I right?

Let me start of by saying I have 1 million mastery points on this champion. Currently sitting at Diamond 3 elo. Azir is literally by far the worst champion in the game right now that's not even up for debate at this point.

I started trying new champions in the last couple days and my 3rd time ever playing Gangplank I go 12/2/16 and carry a hell of a lot harder than I can even dream of on Azir right now.

Then I try a Tryndamere game, for like my first ever playing this champion. I go 14/8/2 against mid Diamond players and just split push all game and win the game easy.

Then I go try an Azir game, well I'm matched against some low elo plat player and end up going 0/7/2 within the first 25 minutes.

Thought okay maybe that's just unlucky, let's try another. Next game end 6/9/5 and feel like I do 0 damage all game.

Azir has been nerfed to the point where he can't duel any other mids. You can make a play and shuffle them under your turret, but 95% of the time it doesn't matter because you don't have the damage to finish them off and they escape with -20% HP. Or they just combo you down and you have no hopes of out trading them with your weak 100 damage autos at the 20 minute mark.

It's honestly sad Azir has gotten to this point when champions like Katarina Kennen Brand Velkoz do way more AoE damage than him and do it by just smashing their heads into a keyboard.

Why would you come make a point on the boards about a champ like azir? You main audience is low elo and think they know everything and they all struggle vs that champ. You are better off on Reddit.

Yea they really fucked Azir. I have over 600K on him. I stopped playing him because repeated nerfs left him feeling lackluster. He does no fuckin damage for a mage.

Erm, azir has no other mechanics in the game like any other champion...of course he's going to have a low winrate. Think of who he's going against, you can't expect Bjergsen to have some crazy high winrate on azir because he's considered the best midlaner going up against challengers using champions that are more basic than Azir, it's a whole new champion in the mid lane not some leblanc or lissandra or whatever. I doubt I'm going to change your mind though. Even someone like Orianna or Yasuo is easier than him because they don't have as advanced mechanics as him, in fact their ults are pretty straightforward unlike a seemingly useless wall of soldiers that has no capabilities of offense at first look.

Azir has a lot of upside and tools for a lot of different situations. He isnt really niche, hes the j4 of the mid lane but a better version. much better.

Now, 80-85% that plays him arent otp mains (that does reduces his win rate significantly for the skill cap he has) But the thing about him is that jhis win rate is a difficult one to analyze properly.

on one side, he has a 50% win rate when the game is around 40 min when the average at high elo is 25 min. A vast majority of players casually play him or has around 50 games with him which means--for among if not the highest skill cap champ in the game--this will hurt his win rate. At last, his numbers dropped significantly at patch 6.14. Was that the MYMU? i dont remember. It seems to me that his counters are very meta also, so its not that he's THAT weak but all these things play a role. I think he is on the weaker side, but i just think hes on the wrong spot more than anything. hes good versus melee assassins and i even see him win versus leblancs at high elo. I wonder what will happen with his win rate at the assassin update? (genuine question)

azir mechincally intense haha

hes literally a marksman with 1100 range

if anything that makes him LESS mechanically intense

the only thing "challenging" if you can call it that is using his ultimate offensively

He needs a rework and rylais needs to be gutted.

hes slightly easier than karthus

for him to be buffable atleast 2 of these things need to go

His safety His range His waveclear His DPS His poke His utility

Serouisly

hes a late game hyper carry that can make huge plays early in the game

Literally no one else can do that and for good reasons.
