Can something be done about Lucian's ubiquity?

I mean i can understand he's fun to play but he's honestly boasting ridiculous numbers that can't be addressed with the "fun factor" in any way.

Thore are honestly not the numbers of a champion that he's played because he's """"fun to play"""", those are totally unhealthy numbers that are killing botlane variety.

Hell, a "popular" champion has 17.69% when he's both fun and not broken (Cait , Vayne).

The nice thing about Lucian (not a Lucian main by any means) is that he's quite flexible as an ADC. He's not the best in any area but he fits in quite well against anyone and with any team comp. Kind of like a jack of all trades master of none sort of thing.

Well that's what happens when an ADC has one of the smoothest power curves in his class. Despite his short AA range he can contend with any matchup through Q poke and a strong all in starting at level 2. Add in enough mobility to actually survive assassination attempts and you have a champion who isn't really bad at anything.

Probably the phrase that you're looking for here, since he's good at a lot; maybe not better than some specialists, but perhaps is still too advantageous in having such of a broad spectrum of capability.

Lucian is just strong overall. He's not the best at some things. However, he is strong in most things. Jack of all trades if you will.

Over te course of like 1~2 years, I've seen Lucian rise to rise to top, fall, rise up again etc without Rito even touching his kit. The meta is just doing it's thing as always, I'm not even shocked at this point. Best case is some outside factor, such as the upcoming mage reworks will indirectly shove lucian outa favor...again

he has one of the best (if not the best) early game of all adc's and after he got a bf sword (in time) there is no adc that can win trades against him well maybe cait with good trap placement and positioning

and in these times it all depends on the early game i think we all know that most games are decided at the 10-15 min mark...

As a kog main I just ban lucian, people look at me funny because who bans lucian, right? Well, I will get the trend started and make people recognize that there is a good reason for it.

Rather deal with a lucian any day than Jhin who 1 shots you even if you build full armor or KogMaw which is scary in teamfights.

Lucian is also to play against. He has clear windows of opportunity against him, his burst can be avoided and he has very short range for an ADC. That doesnt mean hes weak, hes very strong but he doesnt feel unfair to play against. I don't see Lucian and sigh because i know its going to be either a frustrating win or a infuriating lose (ezreal).

He is very safe and could use some adjustments stop crowding out other ADC that arnt ezreal. Other than that i dont find him to be frustrating or overbearing to play against.

id rather play vs lucian than vayne`s 12% max hp true dmg tbh that may be just me,but i hate playing any toplaner and vayne melting me, 300 basic 800 true dmg

If I could delete one champion, it would be Lucian. Not because I hate playing against him or supporting him or anything. I am just so fucking sick and tired of seeing him every. single. game.

Ezreal was like that for me up until lucian's release and the spotlight got taken.

If he was just fun and not strong he wouldn't be a 100% pick up in pro play. Not sure where the "it's just cause he's fun" argument comes from TBH.

If lucian was given an internal CD on his passive, and a longer CD on the dash at rank 5 then he would be less cancerous.
