What can I do to fix this issue?

I was unsure of posting this in help and support or gameplay and balance, so I figured I'd try here first. Anyways, so the last two matches I have gone in, my team has lost. Not by a lot, but regardless, we failed. Do I win every game? No. So then, why am I so shocked you may ask? Well, it's complicated, but here goes nothing.

First game - I was Support - Ended with a KDA of: 4/2/12 - The rest of my team died at least 5 times each. Yep, 5 times.

Second game - I was Mid - Ended with a KDA of: 7/5/21 - The rest of my team died at least 7 times each.

I am becoming increasingly frustrated with one primary issue I have noticed recently

When I join a game, I do everything I POSSIBLY CAN to ensure that MY lane is AT LEAST HELD. I don't even put forth a goal to WIN it, but I at least make sure it's held. I feel as if it is a duty of mine, if you will, to protect my lane, and I thus expect it out of everyone else as well. Why can't everyone else do this? I understand that, every once in a while, you're matched up with a counter to you. Okay. What's your point? Is it a foreign concept to play safe? Look, I don't want to sound like an arrogant jackass, nor do I want to sound like this is always easy to do, HOWEVER, I LEGITIMATELY do not understand why people (and by people I hold all the rest of my team-members accountable) can't play safe! You wanna know how? Not ganks. I didn't need my jungler to camp or anything like that. I simply needed to PLAY SAFE. EVENTUALLY, I was able to very easily destroy Darius. He was actually provoking me by calling me a pussy, it was mildly entertaining when I then proceeded to dash to him and win ;). My point is this - I am having a major issue with those who cannot hold their lanes whatsoever, due to the fact that they CANNOT play safe. It determines the end result of the game, and I absolutely hate it when I can predict a win or loss prior to even hitting the fifteen minute mark.

In summation, I ask this: If I were to do ranked matches (which I haven't even really attempted to even finish my provisionals to enter ranked yet), could I at least expect to fight with people who can HOLD their lanes? I'm totally fine if they don't push, hell they can stand at the turret and dance until the cows come home. But can the people in ranked matches AT LEAST hold their lanes?

P.S. - I'm not flaming, I swear! I apologize if I sounded rude, but this is a serious problem (at least for me) and it hinders my enjoyment of the game. Looking inevitable loss right in the face just destroys the fun for me. Feel free to leave any comments or responses (Please be constructive :D). Am I the only person who feels this way?
