Can we wait a few months before the Aatrox rework and slow down with the change?
It's nice to see Aatrox getting a VU and the rework that’s been a long time coming, but does anyone else feel this might be a bad time to release a new rework? Irelia, Jax, and Camille are still all over the damn place, bruisers are pushing ADCs out of bot lane, crit items are still a mess, lord knows what Shojin’s will do to fighters, mages are starting to show legitimate presence in the jungle, they’re reworking Yasuo’s passive soon to do god knows what, it’s still league of scuttle, people are grumbling about the mage ‘rework’ still, shield nerfs are coming, they’re still flinging new keystones into trees and trying to overbuff them so people use them, Hashinshin’s screaming ‘nerf singed’ but I don’t know how bad a problem that one is since I quit top lane like just about every top lane main is doing, and on top of this completely incoherent, chaotic shitstorm Riot wants to put out ANOTHER REWORK?
Would it be so hard to just stop and breathe for three months and not throw in any major changes, for all our sakes? I can’t imagine, given the game’s current state, Aatrox’s rework will produce a healthy and playable champion given the amount of aggressive changes he’s being thrown into coupled with the numerous amount of reversions and removals that are probably coming out in the following months (Banner being the first and foremost, obviously.) Can we wait for this preseason to end before you try any more changes, riot?
