He's still at 90% ban rate, so its been tough to see how hard the nerfs hit him, but in the normals ive been playing darius really hasnt been doing all that well. At least not to the level that deserves a 90% ban rate status. I might get flamed by my teams for a little while, but yea, im gonna stop banning him. Time to lower than 90% ban rate, its kinda undeserved at this point.

In soloq laning can pretty much make or break it and the team with Darius on it would just group and go crazy. Also, i banned him because anyone playing with him on my team would go 0-14 while flaming the jungler for not holding his hand.

Unless you were playing someone like Teemo or Quinn top, Darius would pound your asshole in because all he had to do was hit you with a EWQ combo, and then spam laugh as you bled to death.

If you can bait out his grab it's ok, but just one screw up and you are 100% dead, gg. Especially when he used to be able to grab you after your flash, ugh.

If a champion is OP, but you can handle them with your eyes close, it might be better to ban a champion you have a problem with but is considered relatively average.

SSJTribe11 voteshad a game where the enemy team had 1st picked Darius but then 4th pick flamed the guy because he wanted top. So the Darius just went support so the guy wouldn't afk. Even just buying 
and then damage afterward, the Darius still goes something like 15/3 and hard carries his team.

He's actually pretty good against the tanks, as tanky supports are free healing and free stacks of hemmorhage. With the new marksman update, this will be harder, but he CAN carry as support.

IMMENSE COURAGE1 votesdarius is a big lane bully, but he has never really been a huge threat in teamfights because of his lack of mobility. he's extremely easy for your backline to kite and kill, and is built around a fantasy that happens once in maybe 30 games. he's not that amazing unless he has a team comp built around him.
i just can't understand why his rework made his lane better without really addressing his teamfights very much. his passive AD boost is neat but you rarely get to do anything with it in a teamfight, a big burst of movespeed or more tankiness would be way stronger.

Because he isn't suspposed to kill the enemy back line, the rework put him in a different spot than his old self, much better teamfighting but people still play with the old mindset and that's why he seems weak. He stay inside your team, you dont go diving the enemy team, you stay inside your team, between the frontline and the adc. Darius lack of mobility and intense melee damage means he wait for the enemy to come to him, instead of him trying yo come to the enemy and get kited. A diving assassin will get pulled off and killed because he's Darius, diving tank will have low enough mobility for Darius to get Noxian Might. Darius is one of the few tank-killing bruiser with Noxian Might, armor pen, Cleaver and true damage can easily beat up a tank, and spamming his W can keep most tank away from the ADC becase most tank also have low mobility. He is easy to kite, but he isn't suppose to be in a position to be kited. And he's still much tankier than old Darius simply by moving up a bit and hitting the enemy frontline with outer edge Q.

I get more problems with pretty much most other champs. sure early game hes annoying but still I don't think hes op then and especially later in the game I think he becomes a low tier opponent. but I usually play jax maybe that is why. even if not jax i still don't see anything crazy about him.
Laçez1 votesI love laning against Darius are you kidding, his kit is about stacking those bleed stats and decimating teams but if you stand your ground against a Darius that isn't fed, for example in laning phase then you'll be fine. Just make sure you are within his q not on the edge or else you will find the fight will be over very quickly...

I've never lost lane vs new Darius, I just play Trundle or Udyr and smash his face in when he can't Q heal. When I play Darius myself, I can smash lane but I get kited to death all the dang time by the fed as hell enemy ADC/mid until my lane opponent comes back

GankLord1 votesI don't understand why he needs a heal because he's already and always has been a lane bully and there has never really been a way to build against him early but now that his bleed is ad it gives him way too much power especially with that passive ability. Until at least his bleed gets changed to ap I'm going to keep banning him downvote the hell out of me if you want to. It's not ok for 2 full health champions (top, jungler)to fight him at the same level before level 6 without summoner spells and he still wins without dying with a decent amount of health left after the gank.

yeaaaaaa thats not why. He's only got a 5% play rate in plat + and a 1% pick rate across all divisions. plus he's a really easy champion to play, and not that complex.

I just hate fighting him. The bleed that kills me when I run, the execute ultimate (Garen has one but I'm not bothered by it) and the healing spin.
It's a mental thing at this point. I need a jungler to come and gank him, otherwise I just feed while barely killing him.
