Anyone got some tips for a new Gnar player?

I've recently picked up Gnar and I'm enjoying his gameplay a lot, so I was wondering if anyone with some experience had any tips for playing Gnar well?

Combos, champion synergy, item builds?

Dont die.

Honestly, I have only a few tips. Always try and combo his Mega R+W together, its known as the Mega Combo for good reason. 3 seconds of AoE stun is really good. Dont ever max his E. Dont rush a Bork.

i think you mean dont build bortk ever, his attack speed and damage arent high enough to be bothered, its better to build frozen mallet and be an annoying CC tank like nautlias.

As a gnar main

Always rush brut. unless you are getting destroyed and then build a sunfire after. Then build black cleaver and full tank after that.

Sunfire is absolutely core to his build and rage management.

In lane DO NOT EVER USE E unless it is a guaranteed kill or you are turning mega for a gank.

Sell brut. late for another tank item so you should only have black cleaver and 4 tank items with either merc treads or ninja tabi.

Engage for your team. It isn't your job to peel, it is your job to land as many people in your ult as you can. Pick out one carry and E onto them turning into mega and focus your ult on them, anyone else caught in it is bonus.

Also when you are trading in lane with someone and they jump you and do a ton of damage and try to walk away after KEEP TRADING. Gnars best trading is after the initial trade as they try and walk back you boomarang them and auto them al lthe way back. That is how you win trades.
