As a Morde main...

It is extremely difficult to play League of Legends anymore. Morde is currently at his weakest state since release and with the increase in ranged top laners, it is becoming even more of a struggle. Morde has the lowest base movement speed and can really only build full damage to make any real use of his kit. Building full tank or bruiser simply does not give him the damage or healing to fight any other champions in lane or solo. I understand that Morde is meant to be a team player but he can't be hit by any cc or else he is bursted down in a second and make your potential 6v4 into a 4v5. I feel like the only reason I can even win a single game with him anymore is simply because I know every match up and have played 3k+ games with him. While I currently feel that morde has no strong counters I also feel like it takes more skill on my end to not lose lane and become useless. I also feel that the game is extremely overloaded with extra movement speed. There are many cases where even if I can proc stormraider's surge, other champions can still kite him to death. I will argue that he has the most available damage in his kit overall but he lacks the tools to use all his abilities before he is defeated. I believe a large majority of the problem is AD casters with full CDR and marksmen having so much mobility through items and abilities. With the impending changes to Crystal Scepter, I feel like that will push him overboard to being considered a dead champion. I accept all comments that incite constructive criticism.
