Im curious. Actual question not a QQ thread but nasus and veigar why?

Veigar gets infinite scaling with his Q used to have a non target stun that was a bit difficult to land and a nuke that had a huge delay(the meteor) he got nerfed Now I don't mind the changes to his Q .it does make it a bit harder to farm but other then needing to reposition sometimes and put myself in harms way its not to bad given that I can now hit more the one champ with it.

His stun delay isn't the worst of ideas but due to its delay being about 10 years I think it needs a little bit of an adjustment because many champs are so mobile its really easy to get out of it.(recommendation have a delay then after another .5 secs or whatever have it criss - cross in the middle or something.)

Nasus has a target slow (and yes I know his slow was nerfed a while back i'm not calling bullshit on that but it is a target slow unlike veigars stun)

Yet nasus even before the veigar changes always seemed like a better Veigar to me. yea veigar could reach a point where he could almost insta kill even a full tank but nasus can do that too. Veigar was (and still is) made out of paper-mache and glue so a slight breeze could knock his ass over Yet nasus is a crazy tanky mutherfucker who can at a certain point almost 1 v 5 and at least take out 1 to 2 people before dieing unless everyone on their team had a shitton of damage and timed their cc perfectly.

So..nasus is a tanky melee veigar who does AD instead of AP

My question is why was Veigar focused so much(I don't mind the changes mind you) yet Nasus isn't ever mentioned?

In short, nasus is really not that strong. His making is weak and with a little jungle pressure, he can be shut down. Also, Nasus is reliant on his q stacks. Veigar can get no q stacks at all and still scale well. The reason they hit veigar is that people were exploiting his broken stun. It was a 2.5 second AoE stun. Way too good for a non ultimate ability. But Riot did not see a lot of things when they hit him. One big thing they didn't like was that veigar needed to make a mistake in order for others to not be stunned. So they added the delay. They did forget that Veigar's E was the foundation for his entire kit, and that they nerfed him WAY too hard. Now he is in the exact opposite place. Instead of him needing to less up, he needs the other people to mess up in order to succeed. It is an extremely horrible place to be and Riot does not seem to want to fix it. Not to mention they haven't lowered the stun duration. Nasus's either was nerfed for a similar reason. It was an OP ability, but he was never played, so it didn't matter. When he saw competitive play as a jungler, they realized it needed to be brought in line. However, there they did a great job with it. Veigar was being played as a support because of his stun. So it was obvious it needed a Nerf, but they went way overboard and completely killed him rather than just bringing him in line. Every change he got in 5.4 was a Nerf. His Q was on the edge, but they raised his cool down and lowered reliability, so I think it is a Nerf because he will not be getting two minions every time. Everything else was a straight Nerf. In time I hope Riot will fix him, but after this last patch, I'm not so hopeful.
