Diana Jungle Op/Underrated

Since patch 5.3 where diana got those w buffs I started jungling her since the spheres are much quicker now. What I found was no matter which side i start on she is a lot more sustainable in the jungle that main junglers. I would daresay she is the most sustainable jungle in the game right now aside from WW. I have been dragoning at 5 minutes everytime with no problem. I will start bot clear one side then maybe one camp of the other. buy trailblazer. go right to drag. and hes done before 5 minutes. does this need to be nerfed or am I just stupid thinking this is OP? I think to myself why does Di have better sustain than a J4 or rengar. WTF is going on and why is no one taking advantage of this?

I agree that she is really well sustained in the jungle.

The reason I believe (im a jungle main since season 3) that Diana isn't seeing much play is because of several reasons.

  1. She is easily counter jungle-able. I am a Shaco main and if i see the enemy jungler is a Diana, i'll smile and kill her at her second buff.

  2. She possess barely any ganking ability pre 6 and her post 6 ganks are really reliant on landing her Q.

  3. She doesn't provide enough team utility.

  4. Her gap closer is too short. Jarvan has E-Q combo, Rengar ult stealth, Vi Q, Shaco Q, etc.

I do find she's pretty underrated. Very good at being in the jungle -- quite sustained, pretty strong dueling power, pretty solid clear speeds.

I think she doesn't see much play because her pre-6 ganking is just awful. Even post 6, her ganks are only okay.

Yeah if u think she is op you have half a brain. The changes to her w was a nerf to her jungle clears. It refreshes before you even get to use all of it. You used to be able to clear both sides and then some. She has no gank potential pre 6 after that her ganks are sub par. And she brings absolutely nothing to a team. No tankiness no cc and no damage. She's sub par in everything she does.

You guys do have pretty good points about the distance closing etc. I still feel like her sustain in the jungle may be a bit overpowered for what shes intended to not something that needs to be nerfed but overlooked. good points
