Dear Riot,
Stop overloading Kits with summoner spells (like ghost on fiora and GP, heal on fiora and darius, ignite on gp, heal and cleanse on gp).
Stop overloading kits with true damage/100% crit chance/50%+ armor pen/% hp damage.
Stop making ranked bans required to include fiora darius gp garen and mordekaiser out of the 6 available bans.
Stop reworking champions and releasing champions with no counterplay except prayer and miracles.
Stop making game deciding champions.
Riot, in my eyes, the game has changed significantly. The juggernaut meta and a few reworks before and after made sure the game was changed forever. Ranked no longer allowed everyone to ban the 3 champions they hated or target ban the enemy on both sides, and now have a basically premade list of bans, unless they intend to play one of them. The game requires less skill than you might think. When I tried reworked fiora, I won lane easy, and got a double kill while my frame froze and I could do nothing (i blindly pressed keys in the hope something happened, and clearly something did as i got out alive).
The game used to be about kits, skill, and counterplay. Now that is only applicable if certain champs are not in the game. 80% ban rates are not something to be proud of. At all. When you stated you wanted some champions to receive more game time and play recognition, you made games orient around those picks. Worlds week 1 revolved around the darius pick, morde pick, fiora pick, and gp pick. The quaterfinals literally saw Fiora being the sole reason KT Rolster lost, and the game where mordekaiser was picked by EDG against fnatic made them able to beat fnatic, though otherwise they wouldn't.
What happened to champions being played because of a fun kit that required skill to beat and win with. Even Riven and Yasuo have counter plays. I have found counters to darius garen and morde, but I have been trying hard to find counters to GP and Fiora, and I just can't. Fiora used to be a lane bully, but she had counterplay and required skill. Now she has a crit-based-lifesteal-true damage-%healthdamage kit that rewards you with an easy first blood at level 1, and a guaranteed tower dive win at level 6. In fact, she turns into a janna at level 6.
Poppy has a fun kit and it requires skill. The problem is she was weak. Dear Riot. Don't F*ck up poppy. Or I will quit the game. Because then there are 6 mandatory bans in ranked, and to win normals you have to pick one of the 6 ops. Make Poppy fun, not broken. I know one person quitting the game is not important to you guys, but I have invested a lot of time, money, and emotion in this game, all to have it ruined by the introduction of game-deciding chess pieces. It's like giving the white chess side 3 queens and the black side the standard set. A game has checkmate written all over it from the start. How is that fun? Champions that are picked to win games rather than champions who are picked to have fun and skill with.... Why is that the result you're going for?

PS. To all the readers who will say "someone clearly fed a fiora", no. I play safe versus fiora. I respect her ridiculously stupid kit, and I play safe. Farm near tower in a frozen lane, and pray for her to dive me when I'm full HP pre-6. I lose lane regardless of what I do, but at least I don't die. No matter what I do, I just. Dont. Stand. A chance. And for those saying "someone clearly fed darius", I have actually never lost lane to darius, garen, or mordekaiser. I know how to beat them after a lot of practice. The problem I have is that others haven't because their pool is not designed to counter them. And this is many. I can't tell you how many normals I've lost because I wasn't in the the same lane feeding darius morde garen fiora or GP. First blood always goes to them. If a champion has 80% ban rate, you've done something WRONG. End of story. Riot. Don't mess up again.
