Lol wtf his damage in the first 2v1... Never heard of it, but yeah from this, it shows that his scalings are bs and needs some nerf

Honestly his Scalings are trash. It is his base damage that is very high which is also why building Penetration on him is very efficient. The base damage is also what allows support Brand to work so well.

That's what I meant, sorry. Just a bit sleepy, wanted to talk about his base damage and his 3rd proc passive damage, and thanks for correcting it

Do you remember the tank karma top with full cdr build ( roa,frozen gaunlet,redemption,spirit visage) oh boy she could 1 vs 5 for 30 secs and we couldnt kill her. Now for this tank brand in order to work you need to know how to farm since your spells doesnt do that much damage going tank, secondly, in the video Tilteralla is a Challenger in OCE who plays in a account at plat 4. PLAT4 as a challenger, so yeah he can deal with ganks alone no problem. If somene who isnt smurfing wont be that good and with help from jungler he will fall behind and even though he builds tank items you and your team will melt him down in 3 secs. Lastly the issue with brand is the max health damage from passive. the only counter play is just not get hit by 3 brand spells, which they are ways to do it, it hard in the begining but not impossible.

Sooo because one Youtuber is going a random build for shits and giggs on his alt, it needs to be nerfed, even tho it's offmeta build which 99% didn't even heard for, let alone play with/against?

The issue here isn't the "off-meta build", just look at Brand's damage without building AP instead

And all that damage comes from 3-spells-proc passive. Brand with spells alone doesn't do much without AP. You still need to land your skillshots, which, for a challenger player like Tilteralla, isn't a problem.

I played against this build. the Brand could easly shread through 2 offtank and almost me too (played as Ahri) mid game.

How many times have you played against it? Once right? And it will probably be the last time. No point in complaining about tank Brand which will be so rare even Mordekaiser will be a more common pick.

So I had some free time and decided to look up Tilterella's match history to see his stats with Tank Brand, since all games with Brand on that acc were with Tank build

He has 58% wr with 55 games played, with 6.5 / 6.0 / 9.4 KDA and 165 CS on avg (5.6 CS per min).

Now if this was some average mid-plat player, then I would say this is kinda op. But we're talking about challenger player on smurf here. He can win games only with his chall-level of game knowledge. Except winrate, his stats are not that good. So I don't rly see what justifies nerfing offmeta build which is almost nonexistent. And no, I don't count hand-picked clips from 55 games xD

Because some1 said it doesn't take much skill doesn't make it a fact. It's just subjective opinion. And dw it won't become a common build. At worst, Tilterella fanboys will copy him, feed their ass off, and never touch Brand again, let alone tank Brand.

Tank Brand isnt Freelo for everyone in every game but situationally it can be a VERY effective pick.

And dw it won't become a common build. At worst, Tilterella fanboys will copy him, feed their ass off, and never touch Brand again, let alone tank Brand.
