I was seeing those pyke trailers and i gotta say im preety exited.However ive been seing a lot of hate coming from this comunity for him.I think it has to be said without any sarcasm GJ RIOT!! Nope. Lulu doesn't need it. Just because you can't fight your opponent doesn't mean they deserve a rework. Janna is stupid, and has no counterplay, but Lulu, Rammus, Panth, Quinn, MF, Malza,KASSADIN, ASHE, AMUMU and Karthus? Who's more cancerous and grants kills? A Darius or a Pantheon? Lulu has uniqueness in her kit, it's called being versatile. Her polymorph is exactly meant for idiots not to go 1v2 the adc and be like: Omg adc so strong rito pls nerf. Her shield isn't even as strong as Janna's, and CAN'T shield towers. Her slow doesn't even have much range, and does little to no damage. And her ult is actually great. Lulu, Rammus, Panth, Quinn, MF, Malza,KASSADIN, ASHE, AMUMU and Karthus? Maybe it's actually because it sounds like he's an assassin with multiple hard crowd-control abilities that has a large True Damage dash with a reset mechanic that is AoE damage and he can function as an assassin while also being a gold-disadvantaged support.
That might be how they are portraying him in the reveal.

Remember how Rumble, designed as a poke support, suddenly found himself on top lane and the jungle. I'm expecting something similar to happen to Pyke - he'll eventually evolve into "yet another assassin" - probably ending up in the jungle (as Youmuus' Youtube stream today seemed to suggest). And us support mains won't even get a chance to play him in about a year or two.
Please let him stay as a support.
Leetri1 votesFrom what a Rioter said about the playtests it looks like his jungle clear is terrible and he has really low HP after clearing, so he's gonna be an OK at best jungler. Anyone who can invade is most likely gonna kill him or force him to give up camps.

Agreeing with you there about the bad clear - but then there are some champs out presently which have bad clear (e.g., Kindred). I am thinking is that all it takes is a buff or two, and suddenly he will migrate out of support role.

I think the community as a whole love pyke and think he is a shining example of the type of supports that can get more people playing the role. He is extremely unique in that lane.

His ult is borderline broken. As an assassin main and a darius/urgot/garen player i can say that his ult is easily abuseable as a pub stomper. He has a hook too, so really he just needs to hook, let 
do his thing and then press R. YOU CAN NOT play paper glass champs like sona against this guy. That being said id perma ban lulu if i play him as supp.
