Have you considered making the Poacher's Knife an enhancement like Cinderhulk, Warrior, etc. and changing up what it does just a tad? I think the biggest problems with the item now come down to two things: It makes your intent to counter-jungle too obvious too early and it is too similar to Ranger's Trailblazer in how it works while lacking strong benefits. Making it an enchantment would allow you to get it shortly after the game begins, making your intent not-so-obvious right away and changing the effects to actually reward you with unique rewards for counter-jungling would allow it to be useful without it seeming as if it were the little sibling of the Ranger's Trailblazer.

My idea is to change it: Either keep it as-is but make it an enchantment or make it so clearing a camp with the Poacher's Knife drops the same ward as the Farsight Orb trinket. Rewarding a counter-jungler for clearing a camp by granting vision of that camp ( so you can see the Jungler or anybody who enters the camp area ) would give your team a great reward for taking such a great risk. Even if this isn't done as an enchantment but the item itself gets reworked I think the idea is worth testing on the PBE given many players have already stated in various boards have stated they would like to see similar ward-related features brought to the Poacher's Knife.

I think it would be cool if it denied a whole spawn cycle. Like, If you poacher's smite a camp, it takes double as long to respawn so long as you get the killing blow on the big creature. Of course, this would need to be balanced when it comes to red and blue, but it would give incentive to counter jungle so you could disable gromp for like 2 minutes or disable the Razorbeaks for two minutes and have a chance to deep ward a lot. But, yet again, would need to balance around Blue and red because a 10 minute respawn would be ridiculous.

item 3711 is just too weak. You surrender farming and ganks for a chance to slow enemy farming, while putting yourself at risk. It should oneshot whole enemy camp or something like it

as a Kindred main (been playing since its release) item 3711 has its usses

no but rlly there r verry verry litle junglers that actualy bennefith from this and even if they do the risk it brings with it is massive

Nunu Shaco might be getting the biggest bennefith from it Elise i never really builded it on her but i dont feel like she needs chilling or red smite and trailblazer is just plain out stupid on her because shes one of the best jungle sustainers in the game (both on mana and hp ;p )

i actualy feel like elise could be strong with it just like reksai could if he didnt desperetly needed chilling
