Elo hell is not bronze, not even Bronze V. Elo hell is an division you are stuck in and can't get out of by any meanings than pure trolling. I hit elo hell at silver 1 where after 80+ games in I demoted. Elo hell is the division where you get stuck forever
Tl;dr Bronze isn't elo hell and you can get out of it.

You can get out of any division if you keep improving as a player.
Nimble Manta1 votesWhen you're in silver, gold, plat, etc. you will see people better than you or at least people who know something you don't, allowing you to learn from your mistakes. I think the idea of bronze being elo hell is that the people around you are so bad that you're learning to play the game incorrectly. It's like telling someone who's never played tennis before to go play with a group of kids that played for a month with no formal training. He might might learn to hit the ball over the net but he's not learning how to play tennis.
I'm not sure if it's true or not but food for thought.

VladTheMage1 votesI agree. Silver sucks so much compared to bronze... There are more trolls and also in high silver you get matched against golds or silver tryhards. I miss bronze cause I got out of bronze 5(I did placements fast and placed B5) to silver in a week. Bronze is so fun as it's easy to carry.

JRobin311 votesI think there is some confusion on the part of the OP: ELO Hell isn't just about reaching your proper ranking and not being able to progress. It's about much more than that. The player experience changes as ELO changes. Depending on where you are at you could be playing in different META. Your ability to climb out of Bronze doesn't really say anything about the experience of playing in Bronze.
