Is Vladimir Jungle at all viable?

Yadayada, finding new things to jungle with, yadayada reasons I am looking at it.

Can the vampire run around the jungle? I get that he's a farm dependent champion, but I take lots of those champions into the jungle and, surprisingly enough, they get strong and fed as they would in top. Singed and GP I can do this with 80% of the time -- the other times they are a little weaker than what they'd be in top lane, but a few successful ganks fixes that and the income is more reliable. For Vlad, as far as I understand, he becomes nearly unkillable after boots and an ancient tomb which rings up a minimal 3100 gold. That's not much at all.

Let me know if this has been attempted at all. Sounds fun and might have a bonus edge to top lane Vlad due to the weird Cinderhulk bonus HP part and Vlad's passive.
