Make sure you buy a control ward atleast once every back or two. Because I guarantee you your team isn't. Its amazing how 90% of my games when i check the graphs; me, and maybe one other teammate, are buying control wards. Everytime. But yet in-game my teammates are cursing each other out..and getting mad at me as a support for not having something such as a sightstone. Um excuse me, you have placed 0 control wards, meanwhile I'm buying one every back, with an oracle alteration..i can only have so many pinks on the map(1). Like come on...I'm tired of getting cursed out by my team for THEIR own shortcomings and lack of warding for their own safety. I'm not God. And if I were I'd still tell them to ward.

If you are the support and you aren't getting a sightstone that's fine, but if you also are not using the yellow trinket then you are just not being very useful when it comes to vision. If any random teamate can rival or surpass your vision contribution as a support just by placing their yellow trinkets and the occasional pink then you are not really doing your job.
