Anyone else can't wait for Nexus Blitz to return?

Even though I played the Odyssey mode a little; I will never get over that hurt I felt when I saw that NB was disabled and Odyssey was the replacement. :(. The mode gave me more thrill in League than i've had in years. The matches are short and sweet, random events that swing the game at any time, double jg, trying odd, but effective, runes; it was all just too much fun. Which in turn made winning, or losing feel the same. That's great because that feeling just makes you want to keep going and you never get enough. It was just an amazing 4 weeks of fun. Next time, I hope it'll be a permanent staple to the mode playlist; because you guys have a winner with Nexus Blitz.

I too hope it comes back. Honestly it's a PERFECT non-rift mode. Smaller map for more PvP interaction, old school items for the nostalgic, and the events were a blast and could evolve with the mode!

Odyssey suffered the same fate as BMB. It was kinda fun, but the missions turned it into a grind that nobody wanted to continue.

I don't think i'll be returning to League unless they bring Nexus Blitz back or they fix the shitfest that is Summoner's Rift.

Ironically, the reason i love Nexus Blitz is the same reason for which i hate SR.

Nexus Blitz is short, focused on action, and although one team has a tendency to steamroll the other, it isn't so bad since games are short.

Summoner's Rift isn't meant to be a fast-paced, snowbally mode. You make one mistake and you lose the lane, followed by the game, and you've just wasted 20-30 minutes of playing carefully, tense last-hitting, general map awareness and more.

NB doesn't have a laning phase and little emphasis on last-hitting and other "micro" game elements, so it can afford to be fast paced.

Riot should bring back NB and make it its official fast-paced game mode, while reverting SR into its former tug-of-war glory.

i literally have no idea why riot removed nexus blitz for odyssey. isnt it supposed to be a permanent gamemode? (at least now i can say i called it, the mode wont last 2 months) oh i see why... because then they had to resize the gamemode selection window in the client to fit every gamemode. i swear thats legit their best reason

Nexus Blitz was very unbalanced, feel like we can all agree when I say that in Nexus Blitz, some champions were just trash. Fun strats like going Pyke with grasp to stack it up ( in Blitz grasp gave 15 instead of 5 perma hp, 14 perma hp is 1 ad for pyke, so every hit is a little bit more than 1 ad ) just did not work or were too inconsistant. Artillery mages were so good that I even tried Artillery Kha'Zix ( a version of kha'zix that goes comet and stuff like that and maxes WEQ with WEQ evolves, the whole idea is that you are a mobile artillery mage ), who is getting a buff on the PBE, so i guess if i get him in ARAM that will be an option. 55% CDR was also a very dumb idea. Felt bad for my enemies when my Pyke ult had like a 28 second cooldown or something like that. Grasp got buffed twice, only GP worked good-ish with it because he could stack the perma hp with ease, maybe vlad too i did not try it. But the whole point is that it was unbalanced as a game mode. Not even talking about how the King of the Hill, could go to the invicible turret, AFTER the changes. When enemy gets first even on invincible turret because im running Targon's and got a kill, so my team is like 600 gold above them, but they get a free Cannon.

Just my personal opinion: I enjoy Crystal Star map game modes more...NB is decent, but I'd prefer any of those CS modes. If they decide to make NB permanent, I'd feel neutral about it.

I think NB would be better with shorter rez timers. most games end before we can reach full build so they are slightly too fast. Heck getting your 3rd completed item is sometimes a challenge.

I would love to see ARURF on Nexus blitz with 5 second death timers so it's this constant cluster fck of gameplay with hyper inflated scores.
