Hi, last season I reached Gold kinda easily, but since S6 I struggle in Silver 5. :/ Personally I feel like I improved rather and my stats are good most of the time, so I dont know why i cant climb. I play Soloq often maybe it has to do with that. Is someone having the same problem?

Because there is no such thing as solo Q anymore. Even if u play alone , there's always a chance you will be matched against premades , sometimes just duos, or trios, but groups of four are also possible. The enemy team is usually on voice chat. Coordination is the key to this season and having reliable teammates . if u want to climb u need to recruit players u have played with or even against and try to see if they will climb with you. Or use the boards. I started in bronze this season and am now silver 1 , thanks to using these tactics . of course this only works if you yourself are at least an above average player. Otherwise no one would want to group uP with you .
It's not, riot just trolls you into a false sense of improvement by starting you off lower at the beginning of the season. They do it every season; pay no attention.
Becasue in this season games are determined mostly by the worst player since its so snowbally
Masteries make everyone super squishy
Games in silver II are just about as hard as games in gold II last season. Is it because Riot has no idea how to curate a ranked ladder? Yes it is!
Riot's hamfisted meddling strikes again. If I'm in gold II and I go 5/5 I stay in gold II. Why, then, do I go 5/5 in placements and get silver IV? Where games are determined not by your skill but by which team has more real silver players (as opposed to trapped gold players)?
Next year, if I haven't smartened up and closed my account by then, I'll be waiting to do placements :p
