Does Evelynn really need a VGU?

Is she that bad? Like, I feel as if Nunu, tryndamere, and other candidates have a better case for one over eve.

I think it's mainly because they want to shift her away from being a diver back towards an assassin. Personally, though, I don't see it. You go in, ult 3 people, get a 500-900 HP shield, murder their carry, get the reset, and get out. What about that isn't assassiny? The shield?

I don't like it because she can't kill people with the ult alone. It's more of an initiation tool than what an assassin would want.

her visuals are pretty bad. i don't really see any huge problems with nunu and tryndamere. nunu is just what he is- a yordle on top of a yeti. no vgu is going to really make that look incredible. tryndamere actually still looks pretty cool to be honest.

Champions like Nunu are on the Tier 1 list for VGU's however Evelynn had been a highly requested champion by the community so that's one reason she got hers.

There was lots of talk about her in VGU threads. The threads may not have been about her directly but a lot of the comments were, as in when would she see an update, lack of skins, ect. So there were varying degrees of community feedback towards her which lead them to taking her up.

Morello had even said in 2016 that if we didn't see a VGU of Eve in 2017 he'd be surprised. Then they announced Eve as one of the updates coming so they kind of hinted that it was highly likely.

Graphically she needs a new rig at least. Riot has been very open about that holding her back for new skins.

Gameplay-wise I think riot is about to screw her over. I think she has a very unique gameplay that her mains like, but riot is likely going to turn her into a generic burst assassin because they don't like her having a mix of DPS and burst. I think that this is BS and all she needs is a better ult, but that's just me.
