Someone teach me how to play out a fed game

Playing yi this is how games go... I invade enemy jg and fall ahead, i gank and get twice the amount of cs and map control over the enemy jg and help secure objectives, almost 80% of my games this happens, where i am really fed by 20 mins. I usually find the strongest lane and help them get first tower.

and from there on i dont know how to play with a fed yi. I get focused in teamfights and am not able to do anything. i have tried flanking, trying to wait till the fight splits up, its almost never successful. when i get focused i am unable to do anything. idk what im doing wrong it could be my build

ive tried a few different builds this works out the best for me i start with "bloodrazor" then "bork". usually tabi or mercury's, then guinsoo's, into guardian angel. and my last choices vary from frozen mallet, qss, deadman's or in some cases, ie. ps: i run smite and ghost with attack speed, mr, armor and damage runes.

get another member on your team fed.

Earlier in games, you could look to dive lanes. Later in the game you could choose to split and clean up teamfights. Wait until people have used their CC and your team has done some damage.

Here are some builds you try out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXFE20i3xIM

you go after alone targets, not many champs have the capacity to 1v1 a fed yi. you split push to make it happen and you make sure you're alone.

you dont initiate a team fight, that gets you killed, you're on clean up duty.

the best thing to do as a 10-0 master yi is to find an enemy carry whos behind and kill them while they're heading back to lane then push a tower. that usually means you're constantly in the enemy jungle asserting yourself.

around the 15-20 minute mark you DEFINITELY should have red trinket and vision of the surrounding area so you know targets are alone and you aren't getting clapd.

securing objectives like tower, dragon, and rift herald certainly help early-mid game. after that I would split push as they would need to send multiple people to stop you. as other posters stated, pick off carries that try to push out a already pushed lane if they are alone.

Get wards up once you're fed, then split-push. Someone has to handle your team, at least two people will go to deal with you since you're both fed and Yi. You'll see 'em coming with wards, so you can either a) try to fight it or b) run back, rotate to another lane, and waste their time. This would leave you time to a) steal neutral objectives, b) split push ANOTHER lane, or c) go to help your team in the fight against the enemy, now that they're down at least one member.

If they DON'T come after you, split push to win.

Splitpush

Usually I am not a heavy advocate of split-pushing when ahead, as a character like master yi who can be locked down, your best bet as many have suggested is to heavily ward the enemys jungle and split-push. You want to deny the enemy as much gold and resources as you can, take drakes, rift herald, buff camps, even regular jungle camps - But do it -safely- shutdown gold is big, and yi snowballs downhill pretty quickly.

If you can, communicate with your teammates and try to get them onboard with the concept of not 4v5ing.

Ideally you want to create enough pressure so that multiple enemies come to the lane you're threatening, so your team can get stuff done elsewhere.

Also, a common mistake I see a lot of players making is, "I'm fed, I should start the fight." nope. Don't do that. Not as a squishy. Being fed can quickly turn into senseless bloodlust and the desire to get kills everywhere on the map and carry carry carry. You still need your team to engage for you, that or you need to start small skirmishes as Yi... Don't lead the charge into a 5v5 unless you are absolutely sure you can pull it off.

How to carry:

  1. Don't die
  2. Stay ahead by farming a bunch
  3. Try to give some kills to teammates you trust
  4. Try and get objectives when you kill an enemy champ (Tower + kill > kill)
  5. Counterjungle as much as you're safely allowed to
  6. If someone flames, mute them. Don't talk back.
  7. DON'T DIE

As Master Yi (I'm pretty sure you know this) But don't go in right away unless the enemy has no cc or easily dodgeable cc (with your Q) It's always a great start to camp an unwarded bush (as a team) in the enemy jungle in order to get a pick, then getting an objective with your numbers advantage.
