Can Riven Get an Execution Indicator Too?

Would be nice to have an execution icon on someone.

On that notion, a thought occurred to me. Shouldn't executes inherently counter shields? Healing countering executes are fine, but maybe if executes only affect current health, rather than effective health, that could be something to look into.

Execution mechanic is already good against shields because the shield doesn't reduce the execution damage. If a 100/1000 (10%) HP ADC gets a 600 Shen shield, the execution damage will still be imense. The shield won't be completely ignored but that's not how "counter mechanics" work anyway.

Personally I dislike the execution icon Eve has. it just feels insulting to me "HEY Idiot you do more dmg now"

However I do like the idea of executes disregarding shields I feel like there needs to be a split between the uses of shields and healing. Healing should be more for long term engagements while shields should be for absorbing immediate damage. So if you already taken a lot of damage a quick 2k shield cant instant save you.

Eve doesn't have an execution indicator; just an indicator when they are below 30% hp. It won't necessarily kill the target.

Its there to tell you that it will now deal more damage. While yes that doesn't mean it will KILL the target like Cho'gath it's still an execute indictator since Eve ult is underwhelming without its execute effect.

I don't think she should have one. Just my personal opinion as a Riven player, but I would like Riven to actually be harder to play. Every change Riot has made to Riven recently are all just changes to make her more open to casual players. Riven should be a champion that is very hard to pull off but is very rewarding.

Shields actually do a fairly good job when it comes to executes such as Darius Garen Chogath

However these guys' executes can't be stopped Urgot Veigar

Veigar, the only champ with an execute that works on enemies at 100% health.

The math has already been done on this and Veigar can't one shot people with his ultimate unless they are severely behind in levels. The base damage is 325, and the scaling is 75 percent of your AP. He would need 2,000 AP to get close to one shotting people at 1,800 health, and that's assuming a target has exactly 0 MR.

Well I was talking about the execute portion of it, if your sub 40% health, it doesn't matter how much health you have, as long as he has a void staff, you're dead.

Not sure why you replied to me. I replied to the guy that said he could execute enemies at 100 percent health.

Was just trying to agree with you, just didn't make it very clear haha

I was pretty clearly being hyperbolic.

Bitch please. Imma Garen main, if i tell you he doesnt have indicator, it means he doesnt. Same for Zed About cho, i dont know

Cho actually does - I've seen it many times. Most of the time, Cho mains just flash and insta-ult when you watch videos from their perspective. However, I'm pretty sure you're right about Zed.

Could they... could they be talking about the Death Mark? idk....

Probably yes (and about Villain)

lol, who needs indicator when it does 50% true dmg to anyone :P

not every freaking champ needs an "execution" indicator. learn how to properly gauge your damage

whats next? Zoe Q execution indicator? Syndra ulti execution indicator?

no...

C9 Squeeky 1 votes

Those don't increase based on missing HP% though... and they've given an indicator to Garen, Zed and Cho'Gath.

what so we are going to give Nidalee takedown an indicator? Veigar doesn't have one either and its on his ulti even.

give it up. learn to gauge your damage properly.

the reason Cho has an indicator is because his ultimate does true damage, so it's easy to calculate. Indicators for other champions are going to have to take into account Armor/MR, as well as your relevant stats. I mean, I don't know for sure, but Cho is the only champion that I'm sure has an indicator and it makes sense to me.

Rito pls confirm.

Urgod has one too

I'll have to keep an eye out for it, because the new Urgot rework is super fun to play, and I love it. Most of the time I ult after a combo, so i never noticed, if there is one.
