I have a huge issue with champs who have no resource pool.

I do not understand how champions like Riven, Zac and Katarina are considered balanced when the only thing that prevents them from spamming their abilities is cool down reduction. They never have to leave lane if they successfully dodge abilities while cs'ing.

Please someone justify how this is balanced compared to any other champion who uses energy or mana?

Zac uses his HP as a resource though. And you got me on Riven and Kat not sure why they don't have a resource but they are balanced around their lack of resource in some way

Why don't you try playing these champions and understand from first hand experience before speaking on balance.

In reality the champions that they are considered strong against are the ones who depend on a resource pool to activate the abilities in their particular kit, which makes it unbalanced in my opinion.

Zac is primarily a jungler so having mana would probably screw him over. He would have to do even more damage to have the same clear speed otuerwise he would OOM himself just trying to clear and never be able to gank a lane. Only fix to that would be to give him even more damage. Do you want Zac having more damage?

Champions like Kat and Riven if left alone never have to back and can continually pressure and push with no penalty, compared to mana users who have to decide whether to spend their mana on wave clear or save it and push at a snails pace just to have an opportunity for counter play.
