Placements...
Why did this placements mechanism get changed? Previously, the game compared your statistics to what elo you belonged (CS/m, vision, kill participation.), but now the placements is using the flawed system of winning or losing.
This old system worked perfectly fine. Why did this have to be changed? Why did you let placements now entirely become destructible by incompetent team-members even if you show supriority? My rank isn't as high that I can solo-carry myself in all those games. But I literally got dragged down by other players causing unrecoverable disadvantages, causing me to get put in a rank I know I don't belong in. Just because others aren't taking Ranked so seriously.
Previously I ended up in high silver. Last year I was even nearly Gold 5. Even if I only won 2 of my placements matches. This time I won 3 of my placements, but I ended up in bronze 3, even though I scored A- or higher in nearly all my games.
Ranked has always been cursed with the fact that having another player screw up will drag your whole team down, no matter how good you are (unless you are a player that's three whole DIVISIONS above their current MMR.). The old placements system was the perfect way to measure how YOU play, and not your team in general. What justifies the change?
