Taliyah Passive rework: Worked ground (ver 2.0)

We all know taliyah is almost there but not there yet. She lacks staying power as a mid and has a weird combination of skills between zoner and burster. The burst part was nerfed because to be honest her W into E burst was cruel, even with few ap items. Since the W rework, her damage has been on point with the combo, but she still feel inconsistent and suffers from lack of staying power becuse minion clear problems in combination with mana issues. Also, i feel that her Q is way too inconsistent when in and out of worked ground so ill suggest a change to it.

New Passive: WORKED GROUND: Rock surfing is added as a passive to her ult (more on that later) and Worked ground turns into her new passive. Using Q works the ground. When on worked ground, taliyah gets a refund of 50% mana of every skill used. Worked ground lasts 120 secs, but everytime taliyah uses a skill on it (or them if they are grouped), the WG timer gets reduced by 20 secs. While on worked ground, taliyah has her usual MS buffs, and also is able to RockSurf while on it and out of battle from lvl 6 onwards (assuming the R skill is at lvl1 of course). With this change, taliyah will be forced to prepare the field prior a battle to be able to enjoy the rewards of WG.

Q-Threaded Volley. The only change i would do to it is that while on worked ground, it will always throw 5 volleys. Outside of it, only 3 volleys. Why the change? I feel that since she is a zone mage...her worked ground should be her comfort zone. She should be stronger while on it, and weaker out of it, why?, because since the ground is worked, she should have an easier time manipulating the earth. Its simple. Also this will fix the damage inconsistency on her Q because the difference in damage between the 5 volleys and the volley on WG is too much. With this change, she can have a power spike on WG, and her Q outside of it would do decent damage instead of miserable damage.

W: stays the same. E: stays the same.

R: Wall. At Lvl6, you gain access to the wall ultimate as always, and passively give her teh rock surf. Rocksurf will work the same as of now, but the only difference is that now Taliyah will be able to rock surf while on worked ground, not only near walls. The speed of rocksurf will increase depending on ult Levels. Thats it.

PD: As a personal wish (this change could stay out but i would like it).....I would love the wall to do some damage. SOmething like 100 dmg at lvl1, 200 at lvl2 and 300 at lvl3...when it bumps an enemy (or enemies). It would be cool to pick up distracted enemies or get that last hit on a running enemy with it.

Thanks in advance, comments would be appreciated.

I like the idea of setting up Worked Ground. As it stands, Taliyah should avoid it at all costs because it completely gimps her. It would have clear strengths and weaknesses as she can be easily outmatched and killed if Worked Ground is not present.

I think her E and W should also gain additional effects from Worked Ground. It would definitely make her more interesting and less of a one skill wonder. She already is a one skill wonder because her E is horribly useless late game and W is too unreliable due to how wonky it is to target. Her only decent skills are Q and R. Maybe E should slow or cause some other form of CC when used on Worked Ground and W's radius becomes bigger when used on Worked Ground. This would give her more of a defensive, territorial playstyle that revolves around the Worked Ground she creates. Enemies have no concern over the zone as it stands. They don't even have concern over her E because it's that weak.

I suggested some things like u said befor. Im talking about giving more AOE to E when casted on WG. Or a little more cast range on W when casted on WG, or maybe half the cooldown?.... But since i suggested mana refund on both skills while on WG i thought it was enought of a buff.. to not overload her passive.

I personally dont like champions who have like 6 abilities on their skills (not counting ult) for no reason. Thats why champs like Jinx and Jayce are so strong. They are simply too loaded for no reason.

I think a mana refund for starters would be good, because that will help her wave clear using her W-E combo without getting OoM after 2 combos.. If she is still weak after this, then i think we can see if W and E can receive new perks while on WG.
