Do you guys like being in a team with people who are in a duo?

I find it pretty annoying in Rank when I end up with people who are duo'ing because they always say " me and ____ bot " or if you disagree with them they say " trust us we are good together and we can carry as long as you don't feed your lanes" as if they own it -_- then when you tell them that you want to go ADC or Supp they get upset and say " ok i'm feeding then " or " Time to troll then ". But this is just the first reason, the second reason is the fact that most of the time they suck at their bot lane and end up feeding, blaming the jungler for everything. Usually people who duo have a partner who's a smurf and have that person carry them to the top ( I've seen it, some of them go Riven top and end up 20+ kills)

I don't like it in ranked when everyone tells me to do a role when I'm first pick

If you know they're a duo, it's bad. If you don't (they don't tell you or ask for the role together), it's typically good.

This is what my duo partner and I would do. We'd each ask for a separate space (he liked jungle, whereas I preferred top). And if one of us didn't get it, tough. We would still coordinate with each other and our team, and play to the best of our ability.

Generally, if a duo asks for something, they probably can't play anything else or have a fixed idea of what's going to happen, both of which are bad.

We don't say "We're duoing, let us have it." We rarely mentioned duoing, and only when we're handling trades . We ask for our most comfortable positions, and if we don't get them, we go down to our next, and the next, and so on, simply filling in as needed.

As for the situation you brought up, yeah, it does happen quite a bit. And it's been me sometimes. But there have been other times where I end up regretting not taking my top lane when I could have. So I would say it's more on a game-by-game basis, as opposed to an overarching statement. Not all duo players are bad and rude. As a former duo player, I did my best to be polite and I respected the role requests of others as often as I could.

So don't hate the duo queue, hate the players. Mute, block and report the individuals responsible if they flame and troll.

The rule of thumb is that duos generally feed. Seen it happen too many times.

I wish there was a setting that allows you not to be teamed up with a Duo'er -_-

Usually don't like it.

-They don't type in chat as much, more likely to communicate on VP so you don't hear things as often. -MM inflates their rating, so the bonus of VP coordination is offset -They usually suck, but no really because their individual skill is lower due to point above -Usually demand certain lanes -Act like 2 man pack animals. Never willing to admit faults, and will support the other to the grave. -In my experience they tend to be more hostile.

thoughts like this are what holds you back in ranked. Your looking to pass the buck. Odds are most games you have a duo win or lose in ranked. That does not mean everyone advertises that they are duo since they do not want to draw attention to themselves and are just playing the game.

Less QQ and more thinking

I dodge whenever I see a duo, it messes up the MMR and the other lanes end up vs higher elo opponents. I main support and play ADC as a backup, last game with one they of course took ADC and support. I play mid a bit but I play glass cannon ADC, ended up vs a veigar 1 league above me, after panic picking AD Nidalee. My goal was just to go even in lane, but I ended up being camped by the jungler, and the Duo ended up feeding, then blamed me for the loss after the game, accusing me of not even trying. Never again.
