Yep cause it seem like cc is his only counter and it doesn't counter anyone else, it just a lame thing people say cc that and that like cc counter anything aside from their normal counter except yi that need cc only to stop him otherwise you are dead.

I always had more success with a lot of burst instead of lot of cc. You can have a nautilus using Q-aa-R on him and he still gets penta. But if you burst him down with Talon or LeBlanc then he won't do anything because he will be either dead or forced to use meditate and low on hitpoints.

lol reading this post legit right after i finished a game 20/4/6 as Yi with a quadra kill.

If the CC is a lock-on with no travel time and is not a slow (for instance, Ryze's W). Yi dies instantly to that single CC alone. It doesn't have to be many of them.

Wait a minute... how does he get a pentakill which is five kills, if he only ends up with 3?

This is exactly what happened to me first time I played Yi on the rift.
